  • Tamzine Garbanzo Flour Blend

  • Honey powder or sugar

  • Sea salt

  • Active dry yeast

Optional Add‑Ins

“You may add any spices or seasonings you enjoy to customize this recipe to your own taste.” Garlic, paprika, rosemary, chili, cracked pepper — all spices work beautifully with oxymel.

 

Wet Ingredients (Customer Adds)

  • ¾ cup warm water

  • ¼ cup Tamzine oxymel (use any formula from the Tamzine Oxymel Pharmacy)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

The oxymel adds tang, herbal depth, and a beautiful golden color.

 

Method

Activate Yeast

Activate yeast in warm water + oxymel mixture (5–10 min) until lightly foamy.

Mix

Combine dry ingredients. Add yeast mixture + oil. Stir until a soft dough forms.

Knead

Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.

Rise

Cover and let rise 45–60 minutes.

Roll Out

Divide dough in half. Roll each half very thin — 1/8 inch or thinner. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet.

Top & Score

Brush lightly with olive oil. Add optional spices. Score into squares or rectangles.

Bake

  • Crackers: 375°F for 12–16 minutes Bake until crisp and lightly golden. Cool fully for maximum crunch.

 

Flavor & Aroma 

Warm honey, toasted grain, gentle herbs, and a clean tang while baking. Finished crackers are crisp, lightly sweet, pleasantly tangy, and herbal on the finish.
