Tamzine has a name sake that came from a time of great distress

It came from the Dunkirk Miracle of 1944 when 385,000 troops was held by German forces at the beaches of Dunkirk. A cry went out to any and all who could help with this rescue, over 800 ships answered the call. Tamzine, a 15 foot open faced fishing but was the smallest of that fleet. In 9 days 335,000 troops was lifted from the beaches to safety.
