Wet Ingredients (Customer Adds)

  • 1 cup warm water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

 

Method

Activate Yeast

Activate yeast in warm water (5–10 min) until foamy.

Mix

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add yeast mixture + oil. Stir until a soft dough forms.

Knead

Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth. (Garbanzo dough becomes silky as it hydrates.)

Rise

Cover and let rise 45–60 minutes.

Roll Out

Divide dough in half. Roll each half very thin — 1/8 inch or thinner. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet.

Top & Score

Brush lightly with olive oil. Optional: sprinkle extra paprika or garlic powder. Score into squares or rectangles.

Bake

  • Crackers: 375°F for 12–16 minutes Bake until crisp and lightly golden.

Cool completely for maximum crunch.
